Delta has been listed as one of the top 100 companies on Forbes’ 2022 Best Employers for Diversity list, which is based on research by Statista, an independent market research firm.

This is the fifth year the list has been published. Statista conducted an independent survey from a representative sample of 60,000 employees working for companies employing at least 1,000 people in the U.S. Respondents. The evaluation was based on criteria including direct recommendations from employees, indirect recommendations from non-employee survey participants and diversity among top executives.

Delta’s diversity strategy is holistic and focuses on age, gender equality, ethnicity, disability, LGBTQ+ and general diversity concerning their employer. Our employees have the opportunity to join 10 Business Resource Groups that connect them with their self-identified communities with over 25,000 members.

“We know that our work in the area of diversity, equity and inclusion has to be intentional and with an eye toward making systemic change.” said Keyra Lynn Johnson, Delta’s Vice President and Chief Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Officer. “As we work to connect, reflect and respect the communities we serve, we also have increased our focus on growing our diverse talent pool and driving more equity-focused outcomes. This recognition from our employees and the public acknowledges that we’re making progress and headed in the right direction – but we know there’s still much work to be done.”
